As the Virginia football team prepares for its season opener in Nashville, at least one member of the coaching staff can look back to the time he played for Virginia in the same stadium. Linebackers coach Clint Sintim helped the Hoos win the 2005 Music City Bowl there.
A freshman at the time, Sintim earned third-team freshman All-American honors from The Sporting News that season. He went on to be a second-team All-American as a senior and finished his career with 245 tackles that included 29 sacks. He is No. 2 on the all-time sacks list at Virginia.
