The Virginia football team continued to struggle on Saturday at Boston College, losing another closer game 27-24. The latest setback left UVA at 0-5 on the season and 0-2 in the ACC.

The most frustrating thing about those close calls is that the Cavaliers continue to make it harder to win with 26 penalties, 4 turnovers, and special teams issues (a blocked punt for touchdown, a field goal leaping penalty, and two kick catch interference flags) in those 3 losses. When the margin for victory is thin, you need to play as cleanly as possible and that’s simply not happening.
