Following week five, Virginia is one of only four FBS teams that has yet to win a game. Boston College this past weekend was a huge disappointment for UVA fans. After an exciting first half that was filled with big plays, letting a lead go in the second half in an ACC game just can’t happen, especially against a team like BC.

William & Mary presents a better matchup for the Hoos, but fans have zero confidence in this team right now. The Tribe are coming off a successful season and have carried that into a 4-1 start in 2023. The W&M defense is stingy and has really limited opponents this year, allowing an average of less than 10 points a game. Despite coming off a loss to Elon, the Tribe will be coming in with some confidence, especially because of how Virginia has started. An upset this weekend would be an all-time program victory for the Tribe.

Let’s take a closer look at this Homecomings matchup with the three-list game preview.
