Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) senior wide receiver Tim Smith had planned to make official visits to Louisville and South Carolina this month, but neither trip will take place. The 6-1, 190-pound prospect updated the latest on his recruiting front, including which official visits remain scheduled in the coming weeks.

“I was supposed to go to Louisville, but they had to cancel my flight because of the weather,” Smith said. “I’m trying to reschedule that but I’m not sure when I will go. I was supposed to go to South Carolina this weekend, but they already have their wide receiver commitments.”

Asked if the Louisville situation was like South Carolina, Smith said, “In a way I feel it might be like the situation with South Carolina. The coach there said he would call last week, but he never got back. We’ll see.”
