Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) star senior Tim Smith will make his official visit to the University of Virginia this weekend, but this past weekend he headed to Morgantown for an official visit to West Virginia University. The 6-1, 190-pound wide receiver prospect reflected on his trip to West Virginia and also looked ahead to this weekend in this latest update.

“It was a good trip. West Virginia had a good environment,” said Smith, who was accompanied by teammate and top senior linebacker prospect Jerod Askew . “This visit was more in-depth than the one I took there before. Before, I went up there for the Spring Game and left. I didn’t talk with the players. This time, I really got to know some players and especially my host. I got to know the coaches, especially the wide receivers coach. I got to look at everything.”

Asked to rate the WVU experience, Smith answered, “I’d give it an eight-and-a-half.”
