With one game to go in the regular season, Virginia basketball fans continue to focus on the Cavaliers and their chances in the ACC Tournament and NCAA Tournament later this month. That leads to a lot of interesting conversations on the message boards so the weekly Fan Friday feature dug through some of the threads to share.

Here are a few of the thread starters that led to some good discussion this week:

Of course, with the end of the season now here, it means that the seniors are nearing the end of this season. The hoops team did hold Senior Night for Jay Huff, Sam Hauser, Tomas Woldetensae, and Austin Katstra before Monday’s win against Miami. If you missed the videos that were produced for the seniors, they’re embedded below.

Let’s check out the rest of the Fan Friday feature.

  1. I am not sure when you started doing posts like this (highlighting interesting threads), but it really is a fantastic idea. I check in on the Sabre about 3-4 times a week, more during the season, and sometimes it can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.

We a some really knowledgeable posters on this forum and I really enjoy reading their stuff. I am not knocking the enthusiasm of the majority of the Sabre’s posters, but with a fairly limited amount of time it is great to be able to home in on the really good stuff quickly. It is good to read yet another post about how wonderful the championship season was, but sometimes I just want to know what’s going on right now.

Please keep up the great work.

    Please keep it up.
