Labor Day weekend is a busy one for the Virginia soccer teams. Both the men's and women's teams host two games over the holiday weekend. On Friday evening, two No. 10 teams visit Klockner Stadium as the women host No. 10 Penn State at 5:30 and the face No. 10 Louisville at 8 p.m. One ticket gets you into both matches Friday so the Hoos are hoping for a great home crowd. Virginia junior women's soccer player Morgan Brian has been called up to the United States Women's National Team roster for a Sept. 3 friendly. The 18-player team faces Mexico at 8 p.m. Tuesday at RFK Stadium in Washington DC. The game will aire live on Fox Sports 1. Sabre TV caught up with Brian to talk about the chance to join the team. Dimas’ Drive Propels UVa Midfield

The Cavalier men's soccer team lost several key players from last season's National Championship squad. The bulk of the 2010 team's offensive production has come from a core group of younger players. Midfield play will be crucial this season due to the youth movement up top for the Cavaliers. This season, sophomore midfielder Ari Dimas has stepped into a larger role with the departure of Jonathan Villanueva. As Virginia goalkeeper Diego Restrepo sat in front of reporters on Dec. 13 after winning the College Cup Final in penalty kicks, he was asked what it felt like to be a National Champion.
