Kris Burd is looking to become an impact player for the Hoos this season.
Virginia’s Kris Burd is a quick yet physical receiver that is amped up for the season and looks to be an impact player for 2010. After all, he has started fall practice with a flurry and he led the Cavaliers last season with 31 catches and 413 receiving yards. With new coaches and a new offense in town, Burd is hoping for an even better season this time around.
He’s not alone. Entering his junior season, Burd is among a group of solid receivers all looking for playing time under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor; veterans Jared Green , Matt Snyder and Dontrelle Inman as well as young and improving players in Tim Smith and Bobby Smith are all looking to crack the line-up too.
