Notes: Owah earned a starting nod at running back on the varsity level his freshman year and has never relinquished the spot. As a sophomore in 2006, he rushed for over 2,000 yards including regular season and playoffs. As a junior in 2007, he earned Massanutten district Offensive Player of the Year honors, rushing for 1,854 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Owah also excels in track, including the 200-meter and 100-meter events.

Owah had two older brothers that also started at running back at Harrisonburg High School.

Head coach Tim Sarver: "I think there is a class of kids that just have special skills. He has speed and balance. He can run inside and outside. He is only 170 pounds now, but we run in the I-formation most of the time. He is a tough kid. There have been cases where he has taken shots and had to come out of games, but he has always bounced back."
