Mason Robinson

Notes: As a junior last season, Robinson rushed for 1,229 yards and 12 touchdowns. At cornerback, he made five interceptions and finished with around 50 tackles.

Head coach Kevin Carty: “He’s pretty special. He’s a real good football player. He’s about 5-10, 182 pounds right now. He ran 11 flat 100 meters as a freshman, 10.7 as a sophomore and he has his first track meet on Tuesday. He can run, but in my mind the best thing about Mason is that he’s such a good football player that he could be recruited even if he wasn’t as fast as he is. He’s not a track star who plays football, but he’s a football player who runs fast. He’s got great hands. He’s got great hips. He’s strong and obviously he has speed. He’s smooth.”
