Notes: Detrick played tight end, defensive end and some linebacker for Woodside last season. He has played on the varsity level since his freshman season.

Detrick earned first-team all-Peninsula district honors at tight end and defensive end for his senior season performance.

Head coach Danny Dodson: "He had a really good season for us [in 2005]. He did a real nice job at defensive end. He had four or five knock-downs from the line and adjusted well to the position. He's probably a linebacker on the next level. He runs real well and he's very coachable."
